Jaime de los Ríos ARTEKLAB Zientziaren eta Artearen laborategiaren fundatzailea da. Jaime de los Ríos es fundador del primer laboratorio de Arte y Ciencia ARTEKLAB. Su carrera se centra en la intersección de estas disciplinas en relación con los mecanismos, ritmos y patrones naturales. Sus trabajos conciernen al espacio entre las aspiraciones humanas y lo político del lenguaje tecnológico. Por ello, es especialista en software y hardware libre, encontrando en su trabajo (gran parte del cual es colaborativo) entornos inmersivos, así como obras dinámicas que relacionan el comportamiento natural con el computacional. En la última década hemos visto sus trabajos en galerías y centros de arte o museos de Nueva York, Tallin, Los Angeles, Roma y el Ciberespacio, siendo actualmente artista comisariado en la importante plataforma internacional de arte New Media Framed.
Jaime de los Ríos is the founder of the open laboratory of Art and Science ARTEKLAB. His career focuses on the intersection of these disciplines and systemics science, especially regarding the mechanisms, rhythms and natural patterns and collective intelligence. Expert in Free Software and Hardware, we find in his work, much of which is collaborative, immersive environments and dynamic works that relate to the computational natural behaviour. In these last decade, his work has been exhibited in galleries and art centres or museums from New York, Tallinn, Los Angeles, Rome and Cyberspace. Currently, he is the curator in the New Media Framed international art platform.
